findJAR.com is based on the contents of the ibiblio maven repository. It contains about 16GB of Java code in more than 16.000 archives. Accordingly, about 2 million class files can currently be found on www.findJAR.com.
Jürgen Kuster, founder of findJAR.com states that the underlying database shall be extended continuously. In the respective process, user input is of particular importance. Only this way it is possible for findJAR.com to keep up with new versions and additionally relevant packages.
